That was the title of Isaac Asimov's 100th published book. I am no Asimov. However, two weeks ago, when I scheduled "Last Week's Blog," I realized that it would be my 99th published blog post. And, since I stole that title from the procrastinators' newsletter I figured this time I'd steal from the best.
While I was writing that 99th post I browsed through some other blogs, and realized that most had not been updated for a couple of years, and that they probably average around a dozen posts each. I guess that makes me officially a "prolific blogger." A hundred blog posts without saying anything worth reading must be SOME kind of record.
As I have mentioned previously, I am attempting to start a consulting business filing campaign finance reports for candidates for public office in Louisiana. Qualifying for the October election is Tuesday through Thursday of next week. I hope to be very busy by next Friday, and 100 blogs seems like a good time to take a break.
Back in February I started a blog about Campaign Finance. I guess if I do find time for blogging the next couple of months, I should do it there. I haven't posted anything there since looking at the Annual Reports for Gubernatorial Candidates. I'll try to add a new one before I post this.
If you, or anyone you know, will be running for office this fall, I would appreciate your consideration of my services. I now have a website at www.genedawson.com with all my contact information and the services I offer.
I have also received my certification as a Third Party Ethics Trainer, and will be conducting two Ethics Training Seminars on Saturday September 12th. That information is also available at my website.
So I'll blog again when this nonsense is over, hopefully by the end of the year. Until then you kids GET OFF MY LAWN!
